Weird Daesh’s Fatwas on the Month of Ramadan and Fasting

According to the ISIS , the terrorist group, the fast of those who are not affiliated to ISIS is void. Hence, the ones who fast while they are not of the members of ISIS are hypocrite, and they can be punished according to Islamic law.

The first weird fatwa, with some justification such as “fasting may weaken the body and consequently the one cannot fight for their beliefs because of feebleness and exhaustion”, emphasizes that it is not necessary for the members of ISIS to fast during the war and battles.

The second fatwa prohibits women from coming out of their houses during the daytime in Ramadan to avoid raising a disturbance among Muslims (captivating by their charm). In case a woman intend to come out of her house, she must come out after Maghreb prayer by a man of her close relatives.

The third fatwa: shops and stores must be closed during the last ten days of the month of Ramadan and before Eid al-Fitr in order for Muslims to engage in worshipping God only.

The fourth fatwa: the fasting of those who do not like ISIS is not valid. The Mufti of ISIS in Homs, Syria has declared that the fasting of those who do not like ISIS is not acceptable and valid. The ones who have such attitude towards ISIS, it is not obligatory for them to endure the hardship of fasting because in this case, they only suffer from thirst and hunger, their fast is void and it is worth nothing.

According to the fifth fatwa, the fast of those who are not affiliated to ISIS is void. Hence, the ones who fast while they are not of the members of ISIS are hypocrite, and they can be punished according to Islamic law.
