Ijtihad Network Being Wise and Faithful Muslim in the Contemporary World
With great sorrows and grief, I received the news about the martyrdom of the great commander of Islam, the proud fighter, Lieutenant General Haj Qasem Soleimani, said Ayatollah Safi Golpayegani in a message.
He was a martyr who devoted his life to Islam, serving people and guarding Islamic values. He was among the lovers of the Infallible Ones (a), especially the Master of the Martyrs, Imam al-Hussayn (a); and by following the illuminated school of the Ahl al-Bayt (a) fought in the frontline of fighting with enemies of Islam and religious corrupted minds.
The art of men of God is that they make an eternal use of this transient and finite life and offer their lives to the Lord.
I extend my condolences for the martyrdom of this great fighter and some of his companions, especially martyr Abu Mahdi al-Muhandis to all free-minded ones in the world and the Iranian honorable nation and their respected families.
I ask God for the victory of Islam and the pride of the nation under the shadow of the favors of Imam al-Mahdi (aj).
