Ravil Gainutdin Re-elected as the Head of Council of Muftis of Russia

Ravil Gainutdin in the next five years will continue to lead the Council of Muftis of Russia.

His reelection took place on Tuesday in Moscow at the SMR Congress whose delegates voted for unanimously by R. Gainutdin, the website of the Council of Muftis.

In the framework of the Congress was also elected to the Presidium of the Russian Council of Muftis of ten people. In addition to R. Gainutdin, it included the Chairman of the Spiritual administration of Muslims Asian part of Russia nafigullah Ashirov, the head of the DUM of Bashkortostan nurmuhamet Nigmatullin, Chairman of the DUM North Ossetia hadzhimurat Gatsalov, the head of the DUM of the Volga region Mukaddas Bibarsov, Chairman of the DUM of the Moscow region Rushan Abbyasov, Chairman of the DUM of Moscow, Ildar Alyautdinov, head of the DUMAS of St. Petersburg and Leningrad region, Damir Mukhetdinov, the Chairman of the DUM of the Penza region islyam dashkin and the mufti of the Tyumen region Zinnat Sadykov.

Currently, according to the justice Ministry of the Russian Federation, the Council of Muftis of Russia is in fifth place among other centralized Muslim organizations in the country by the number of active communities.
