Due to the significant status of women in society in all their roles in life (daughters, sisters, wives or mothers), and due to their role as a key factor of running the wheel of the future of society and nations, we might not exaggerate if we say that the family is ruled by the lady.

There is no doubt that the centrality of family education and the emotional condition and self-impact of the family structure is in the hands of women. It is not enough to cover the status of women, or the assertions of the Holy Quran on the necessity of the rules and means of reform in this introduction, even encyclopedias, as much as we wish here to put the female-reader in between the pages of a booklet showing the points of paternal and legal guidance from the Grand Ayatollah Sheikh Bashir Hussein Najafi (may Allah prolong his life), and that we set this book in three aspects:

The first aspect is general guidance. This is about taking the lessons of Lady Fatima Al-Zahra (PBUH), as well as from the Lady Al-Hawra Zainab (PBUH). The main focus of the lessons is represented by woman Hijab, decency and chastity.

The second aspect is the religious rules and the guidance, which was derived from the book “Khairul Sahaef fi Ahkamul Afa’ef” [the best human deeds records in the rulings of chaste women], the first edition. This book is extracted from the book “Al- Dinul Qaim” [the valuable religion] of the fatwas of His Eminence. The book ends with a collection of the most important questions and answers on women.

This effort, which was carried out by the Department of Authorship and Editing of the Anwar Najafia Foundation for Culture and Development, was blessed and monitored by the office of His Eminence (may Allah prolong his life). This book is made because of the repeated requests on the book “Khairul Sahaef fi Ahkamul Afa’ef“, which was during the Baath regime and one of the most important booklets of the Iraqi family where the Islamic and jurisprudence books were banned in Iraqi society.

The department of authorship and editing has taken the issue of observing the developments of women’s reality in their work and career, and to set the appropriate path for them through extracting the relevant issues from those of His Eminence (may Allah prolong his life)and documented by the media department of the Al-Anwar Al-Najafia Foundation, as well as obtaining the latest fatwas by the department of “questions & answers “in his blessed office. We put this work as a contribution to convey the teachings of the Religious Authority in Al-Najaf to our Islamic society, and we hope that Allah(Almighty) counts us among servants of the Religious Hawza in Al-Najaf.
