Ijtihad Network Being Wise and Faithful Muslim in the Contemporary World
The aim of this year’s Islamic Conference of Tourism Ministers (ICTM) is to showcase Bangladesh’s Islamic cultural heritage to the Muslim countries across the globe.
Civil Aviation and Tourism Minister AKM Shahjahan Kamal on Sunday said Dhaka will be recognized as an “Islamic Tourism City” in the upcoming Islamic Conference of Tourism Ministers (ICTM).
ICTM is a registered entity of the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC). The aim of this year’s ICTM is to showcase Bangladesh’s Islamic cultural heritage to the Muslim countries across the globe.
“The three-day Islamic Conference of Tourism Ministers will begin at Hotel Pan Pacific Sonargaon in Dhaka on Monday [February 5]. Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina will formally inaugurate the conference on Tuesday [February 6],” Shahjahan Kamal said at a press conference held at the secretariat on Sunday.
OIC Secretary General Dr Yousef bin Ahmed al-Othaimeen, and 85 others representatives from 57 countries, including 15 ministers will attend the conference.
