Prehawza Spring 2017 Term to Be Started on Feb

The Pre-Hawza course is a universal introductory course to various Islamic studies which are important to know for every Muslim.

Muslim Congress is pleased to announce commencement of the Prehawza Spring 2017 term.  Classes will begin on Wed, Feb 1, 2017.  All classes are in English and are held weekly on the same day based on Eastern Standard Time (EST) as indicated below.

The Pre-Hawza course is a universal introductory course to various Islamic studies which are important to know for every Muslim. This course is beneficial for two groups:

  1. Those who want to study in traditional seminary school (The Hawza); this course familiarizes them with the teaching method, curriculum and prerequisites of the seminary.
  2. Those students (high school or college graduated) who want to have deep awareness of Islam.

PROGRAM

  • Islamic Theology 1: Saturdays, 11:30 am – 1 pm EST (H.I. Mustafa Mehdi)
  • Islamic Theology 2: Saturdays, 11:30 am – 1 pm EST (H.I. Ali Aqib Jaffry)
  • Islamic Theology 3: Saturdays, 11:30 am – 1 pm EST, (H.I. Shamshad Haider)
  • Islamic Law 1: Sundays, 11:30 am – 1 pm EST (Br. Syed Mohsin Rizvi)
  • Islamic Law 2: Sundays, 11:30 am – 1 pm EST (H.I. Ali Aqib Jaffry)
  • Islamic Law 3: Mondays, 9:30 pm – 11 pm EST (H.I. Assad Dharsi)
  • Islamic Ethics: Tuesdays, 9:30 pm – 11 pm EST (H.I. Hyder Shirazi)
  • Qur’anic Recitation: Fridays, 9:30 pm – 11 pm EST (H.I. Syed Mohsin Naqvi)

Qur’anic Vocabulary: Wednesdays, 9:30 pm – 11 pm EST (H.I. Haider Naqvi)
