Halal Food Expo will be held in Melbourne Show Ground Melbourne VIC on Sunday 10th of January 2016 and on Sunday 10th of April 2016 in Fairfield Showground Fairfield NSW.
Halal Food Expo was held first time Australia last year on Sunday 12 April 2015, at Fairfield Showground, Fairfield New South Wales, Australia. The aim of the event is to make awareness and significance of halal food in the growing population of Islamic Community in Australia and provide experience to those who don’t know about halal food or never used any halal products.
Halal Food Expo is the Halal Food, Products & Services exhibition in Australia with great family fun day for everyone. It is an event of promotions of Halal Food, Products and Businesses by bringing halal consumable products suppliers/manufactures and providers of halal services in various fields under one roof with lots of fun and amusements. It is an open family event for all ages where there will be variety of halal food stalls of different Islamic ethnic restaurants, halal products manufactures & retail suppliers, entertainment, amusements, rides, games, sports competition, and much more.
Halal Food Expo (HFE) is organised by the CREF Incorporated – the organisers of very famous annual Chand Raat Eid Festival (CREF) in Sydney, Melbourne and Perth – is a non-profit community organisation. The organisation is not a part of any religious or political party or group neither a Halal certification nor an Islamic Organisation. It is an independent organisation whose goal is to organise different multicultural events of the interest of the people and promote friendship and harmony between people. The Organisers have received many community awards including multicultural event of the year. The Director of HFE has received NSW Premier’s Harmony Award 2014 for his outstanding contributions to the multicultural communities of New South Wales, indiscriminately.
Last year, (2015), over 10,000 people attended the event with over 100 exhibitors. People were queuing in hundreds before the gate opened at 10am. Many community leaders, local politicians and celebrities including Bachar Houli and Amina Elshafei attended the event. The event ended at 8pm amazing fireworks.
The popularity of first Halal Australian Expo went beyond the boundaries of New South Wales and people in other states sent messages to organisers to organise the event in other cities. Therefore, the organisers have the initiative and planned to organise the Halal Expo Australia in Melbourne beside in Sydney.
Therefore, this year (2016) the event will be held in Melbourne Show Ground Melbourne VIC on Sunday 10th of January 2016 and on Sunday 10th of April 2016 in Fairfield Showground Fairfield NSW.
