The Arab country’s parliament has organized the one-day forum in cooperation with Ministry of Youths Affairs, according to al-Misri al-Yawm website.
It seeks to discuss and analyze the view of divine religions in rejection of violence and extremism.
The participants will also elaborate on Islam’s emphasis on compassion, peace, and moderation.
Senior scholars from al-Azhar Islamic University are among the partakers in the forum.
Cairo also hosted a conference on rejecting terrorism on Tuesday.

Over the past few years, militants and extremist groups have carried out numerous terrorist attacks in Egypt, taking advantage of the turmoil that erupted after the country’s first democratically-elected president, Mohamed Morsi, was ousted in a military coup in July 2013.
In November 2017, at least 305 people, including dozens of children, were killed and over 130 others injured in a shooting attack and bombing at a mosque in Egypt’s Sinai Peninsula.
Terrorists attacked al-Rawdah mosque in the town of Bir al-Abd, 40 kilometers (25 miles) from the North Sinai provincial capital of el-Arish, during Friday prayers.
The attack was the deadliest single terrorist incident in the country’s recent history.
