An educational seminar is planned to be held in the British capital of London on ways to counter violation of Muslim minorities’ religious rights in Europe.
It will be organized by the Islamic Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (ISESCO) in cooperation with the London Cultural-Islamic Center on December 10-11.
The “Seminar on Violation of the Religious Rights of Muslim Minorities in European Countries” will be attended by Muslim and non-Muslim scholars and experts in the fields of human rights and international law.
It aims to find ways to defend the cultural, religious and civil rights of Muslim citizens residing in European societies.
The participants will also discuss what international laws say about cases of insulting minorities and provoking hatred and racial discrimination.
ISESCO’s representative al-Mahjoub Bin Saeed will deliver a speech at the seminar on the organization’s plans to address the issue of Islamophobia and insulting religions in the media.
