Ijtihad Network Being Wise and Faithful Muslim in the Contemporary World
Ayatollah Sayyid Ali Khamenei issued a message of condolence for the passing of the diligent scholar and proponent of Islam and Shia, Ayatollah Taskhiri.
The full text of his message is as follows:
In the Name of God, the Beneficent, the Merciful
We were saddened to learn that the diligent scholar and proponent of Islam and Shia, Hujjatul Islam Mr. Haj Sheikh Muhammad Ali Taskhiri (may Allah have mercy on him), has passed away.
The record of this tireless, indefatigable man in performing various outstanding services in the international Islamic community is truly brilliant.
His steadfast determination and motivated soul even overcame his physical disabilities in recent years and enabled him to continue his effective and blessed involvement wherever it was necessary and useful.
His responsibilities and services inside the country are also a separate and valuable chapter of this virtuous, committed cleric’s efforts.
I offer my condolences to his family, as well as to all his colleagues and friends, and ask God for His mercy, forgiveness, and divine approval for him.
