Nigerians have taken part in a protest rally calling for the release of prominent Shia Muslim cleric Sheikh Ibrahim Zakzaky.

Nigerian people staged a peaceful rally to protest at the Nigerian army attacks on the Shiite Muslims in Zaria region which claimed hundreds of civilian lives, and demanded immediate release of the Leader of the Islamic Movement of Nigeria, Sheikh Ibraheem Zakzaky.
