Baqi Pilgrims to Visit there with Bare Feet: Ayatollah Wahid Khorasani

Regarding the magnificence and holiness of Baqi and visiting four Imams have been buried in this holy land, Ayatollah Wahid Khorasani said, It is better for the pilgrims of Baqi to visit there with bare feet (as a sign of their respect).

According to Ijtihad Network reports, Ayatollah Wahid Khorasani in a meeting with Iranian Hajj mission addressed the clerics and the members of the mission: your duty is to look after the pilgrims` affairs and to answer their questions, undertaking these tasks is better than performing the recommended acts. Moreover, Ayatollah Wahid Khorasani responded to the requests for a legal opinion about Hajj and a report about what the mission had done in previous years presented to him including, answering to the questions of pilgrims in person, through telephone and applications, collecting and publishing jurisprudential precepts that are common in Hajj in cyber space etc.

He advised those who go to pilgrimage to Mecca and said: those who make obligatory pilgrimage do the principle of the deed for themselves and present its reward (thawab) to Imam Hassan Askari (pbuh). And those who make recommended pilgrimage, do it on behalf of Imam Hassan Askari (pbuh).

This great Marja also said, the pilgrims would recite surah al-Ikhlas and present its reward (thawab) to Imam Mahdi.

Regarding the magnificence and holiness of Baqi and visiting four Imams have been buried in this holy land, Ayatollah Wahid Khorasani said, It is better for the pilgrims of Baqi to visit there with bare feet (as a sign of their respect). Try to follow this tradition and hand down it to other pilgrims.
