Iraq’s prominent cleric Grand Ayatollah Sayyid Ali Sistani expressed profound grief and sorrow over the deadly terrorist incident in Kerman.

Today’s terrorist incident in Kerman province, which killed hundreds of innocent people, brought a lot of sorrow and grief, Grand Ayatollah Sistani of Iraqi said in a statement.

“We offer our condolences to the bereaved families and the noble people of Iran for this tragic tragedy. And we ask the God Almighty for forgiveness and divine grace for the dear martyrs, and for the wounded, a speedy recovery,” the Shia cleric further said.
