The Legacy of Fatima: The Role of Women in Shia Islam

One-Day workshop on “The Legacy of Fatima: The Role of Women in Shia Islam” will be held in Woolf Institute Cambridge on March 4.

This event will bring together scholars and practitioners to discuss the role and legacy of Fatima in Shia Islam.

Discussants and moderators include:

Father Christopher Clohessy,

Mohammed Hilli,

Roohi Hasan,

Safia Tharoo,

Dr Sayed Ammar Nakshavani,

Prof Sajjad Rizvi

Dr Lea Taragin-Zeller.

The workshop from 5.00-7.15pm will be followed by a book launch of Father Clohessy’s latest work on Zainab, daughter of Fatima.
