Abu al-Qāsim ‘Alī ibn Husayn al-Sharīf al-Murtaḍā (commonly known as: Sharīf Murtaḍā, Sayyid Murtaḍā) (965 – 1044 AD ; 355 – 436 AH) also known as ʻAlam al-Huda was one of the greatest Shia scholars of his time and was one of the students of Shaykh al-Mufīd.
